Sealed With A Kiss Promos

Recently, I’ve been fortunate enough to get commissioned to create some posters for a few events for Sealed With A Kiss. They throw some pretty sweet events in Vancouver from dj’s to indie bands. Here’s 2 of the posters I made for them.

Modern – Dance Club Rebranded (Again)

I guess the spacey stuff got played out real quick so we changed up the looks once again and this time went for a more minimalist hipsterriffic look. This is what I came up with.

Modern – Dance Club Rebranded

One of the clubs that DHM owns has recently gone through a rebranding to make it less ‘upscale chi chi’ and more ‘let’s get trashed and party’, if that makes any sense. Anyway, this is what I came up with after hearing what direction the marketing team wanted to go in. That disco ball had [...]

Album Art – No No Spots

I recently was commissioned to do some album art for a rad local Vancouver band called No No Spots. Here’s what I came up with. Not sure when it drops though. I’m pretty proud of my text treatment.

Psych Ward October 2008

This is by far my favorite poster I have done to date. If I had more time to work on it, I would have made the blood more realistic.

NYE December 2008

Here’s all the stuff I did for 2008-2009 New Years Eve Parties.

DHM – Tittsworth

I did this one at the height of Kanye “Stronger” Glasses’ popularity, which was about a 3 week window sometime in late 2007. I thought I was so clever when I made this poster.
I also once had a pair of those glasses. I ordered them from shuttershades.com and this was before the fire really caught [...]

DHM – Jokers of the Scene

This was a poster I created when I was still new at DHM. I enjoy the somewhat “3D” effect with the text, as well as the colors. It’s pretty hipsterrific.

DHM – Fast Life Thursdays

Fastlife Thursdays at Rebublic. Definitely one of the best nights to catch in Vancouver on a Thursdays. The patio is regularly nuts until 3 am.
Working with text only creatives is a bit tough because there’s no imagery to carry the creative, so it forces you to step up your typography game a bit. I [...]
