DHM - Jokers of the Scene

This was a poster I created when I was still new at DHM. I enjoy the somewhat “3D” effect with the text, as well as the colors. It’s pretty hipsterrific.

DHM - Fast Life Thursdays

Fastlife Thursdays at Rebublic. Definitely one of the best nights to catch in Vancouver on a Thursdays. The patio is regularly nuts until 3 am.

Working with text only creatives is a bit tough because there’s no imagery to carry the creative, so it forces you to step up your typography game a bit. I hope I managed to convey that with these posters. Version 1 on the left and 2 on the right.

DHM - Ode to Facebook

My ode to (the old) Facebook. It was a Valentine’s Day party starring Expendable Youth.

DHM - Glass Box

This is one of the cleaner designs I have created. If there was one thing I could change about it, I would add the schitzpopinov logo at the bottom.

DHM - Pop Opera Weekend Events

A new club opened up recently called Pop Opera. I ended up doing the initial branding for the weekly events at this new spot. Here’s the result of that.

We ended up going with a consistent look with similar image tratment for all 3 nights, bright high contrast colors and similar titling.

DHM - Baby Grand Fridays

The first poster was created back in May 2008. The second was done in August. Just updated the look of the flyer to.. you know… keep things fresh. I wasn’t sure if they would go for the legs in the graphic, but they ended up liking it, so I’m happy.

DHM - Catchdubs

This is the first job I did for Donnelly Nightclubs. I’m pretty proud of it. Because of this poster, I’m now working at the DHM office 4 days a week and having a blast making these club posters.

If I could change anything about this poster, I’d make it more consistent with the club/company branding because back then, I really had no idea what I was supposed to do as far as branding went with these flyers.
